Zachariah Isaac, the CEO and founder of Balance of the Mind, is a highly qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a profound commitment to mental health support.

Zach has a remarkable story of personally overcoming depression. His path from struggling with his own mental health to becoming a passionate advocate for others has shaped his career and the ethos of the nonprofit organisation he established.

Having written “Counsellor’s Guide to Counselling,” a comprehensive manual for students, trainees, and qualified counsellors, Zachariah Isaac provides practical tools and techniques for addressing mental health issues. This guide covers topics such as mood cycles, thinking styles, anxiety attacks, breathing techniques, and more, offering effective methods for managing mental health symptoms.

In addition to his work with Balance of the Mind, Zach actively promotes mental health awareness through social media platforms like TikTok and YouTube. He also collaborates with institutions such as Bucks New University and CPPD, a leading humanistic integrative counselling training school, to provide practical training and support for student therapists.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT 

Zach and his team prioritise offering up to 20 free counselling sessions for those with low income or receiving benefits. This initiative has already provided over 500 hours of free therapy (Jan-March 2024), supporting individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and suicidal thoughts.
